Gary Bras to Host 17th Hall of Fame Induction Gala

At tonight’s 17th Hall of Fame Gala, Antioch High grad Gary Bras will take center stage and host his fifth Hall of Fame induction class.

Bras, as a 1979 Hall of Fame Track and Field team member, was inducted into the Hall in 2016.

Since 2011 Bras has passionately supported the Sports Legends. First as a Research and Recognition Committee member and then serving on the Executive Board. In 2017-2018 Bras stepped in as Interim-Program Coordinator and in January of 2019 received the prestigious Founders Award for his stellar efforts.

As Gala Master of Ceremonies, Bras’ impressive five-time run is from 2018 thru 2019, 22, 23 and now in 2024. Gary also acts as an advisor to the Antioch Sports Legends Hall of Fame, Inc non-profit.
