Trevor Graifman
Hard work and dedication have always been the pillars of Trevor Graifman’s success. This 2008 Antioch High valedictorian was involved in student government and was part of the elite choir, Music Masters, all the while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average. Trevor’s extracurricular activities did not end there. With aspirations of medical school, he actively sought a rigorous schedule to prepare him for that challenge. Trevor wrestled for the Panthers for three years, but his athletic ability truly shined at the end of the one and three-meter springboard. In his sophomore and junior years, Trevor finished second in the North Coast Section Diving Championships, and he was named First Team All-League in diving during his sophomore, junior, and senior years.
From his academic and athletic accomplishments, Trevor earned a scholarship to California Baptist University, where he would go on to become one of the school’s most decorated divers. As a sophomore, he earned his first two All-American Awards after finishing second in the one- and three-meter events at the NAIA National Championships. In his junior year, Trevor’s third and fourth All-American Awards came after he won the three-meter springboard national championship and finished third in the one-meter competition. After his school transitioned to the NCAA in his senior year, Trevor went on to earn two more All-American Awards, Diver of the Year at the PCSC sectionals, and was named to the NCAA Division II Academic All-American second team. Trevor has held the school’s one-meter springboard diving record for more than a decade and remains their third all-time best diver on the three-meter springboard.
After his undergraduate career, Trevor realized his medical school dream. Dr. Graifman completed his medical schooling, residency, and fellowship, and he is now a pediatric anesthesiologist in Southern California.
