Rounsaville and Miles Return to Hall of Fame
Former Major League Ball Players Will Be at the museum Saturday, April 8th from 1-4pm at 1500 West 4th Street
For the second consecutive year Antioch’s former Major League Ball players Gene “Butch” Rounsaville and Aaron Miles will return to the Antioch Sports Legends Hall of Fame. As with last year’s visit this commemorates Rounsaville’s pitching debut fort the Chicago White Sox April 7th, 1970, baseball’s opening day and to honor Antioch’s MLB stars. More on Rounsaville’s Hall of Fame career.
Over the years, Antioch High School has fielded four Major League ball players in the school’s history. Beginning with Rounsaville (1970), Jeff Pico (1988), Alex Sanchez (1989), and Aaron Miles (2003).
Happy Birthday to Alex Sanchez, he participated in last year’s MLB Day but his birthday celebrations were this weekend and will not attend.
